NVE Bank Grants $1,000 Scholarships to 10 Local High School Students
Englewood, NJ, July 26, 2010 NVE Bank hosted their 3nd Annual Scholarship Reception on June 22nd where they awarded ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the local area. Additionally, this is the second year NVE Bank extended their program to six of the area middle schools with a $500 Savings Product Scholarship.
"I couldn’t be more grateful to receive such a generous award -- one that will catalyze my college process," noted Pascack Valley High School graduate, Jessica Lovejoy. NVE Bank’s Scholarship Program was commenced to give back to the communities they serve while trying to alleviate the costs associated with a achieving a higher education. "We are very proud to be a part of this special time in the graduates lives and to be able to give back to the communities we serve," said Robert Monteith, President and Chief Executive Officer of NVE Bank.

New Jersey Society of CPAs Convention

NVE Bank attended the 5th Annual New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJSCPA) New Jersey Convention & Expo in Atlantic City from June 2nd through the 4th. NVE was a sponsor of the event as well as an exhibitor. The Bank gave out mouse pads, stress relievers and raffled off 8 Netbooks to the attendees that visited their table. The event drew in over 500 CPAs and 60 vendors from all over NJ.
